Hello! Welcome to my Outdoor Studio!
I will be here all summer, getting inspiration for my new summer lines from the sun and surf of Cherry Beach Park among the willows and the sandy beach. If you’re in Toronto, come and see me as I work on my Cherry Beach Collection and other summer jewelry.
Cherry Beach is a great place to go swimming (it’s a Blue Flag Beach), to relax, play and visit and do water sports. This place is popular for kite-surfing and sailing. Right now I can spot at least thirty sailboats skimming along the blue water, enjoying the warm breeze.
Cherry Beach is also popular among dog owners who can let their dogs run for miles in the unleashed area of beach and woodland. As I sit here, composing my pieces, I get inspiration from the vibrant orange kayaks, green and yellow sailboats, rainbow umbrellas and lively summer garb. The birds sing a melody to the cheerful laughter of children and chatter of happy park goers. Mr. J’s is open, sending out tantalizing aromas of juicy hamburgers and hand-cut fries—a favorite among the park goers.

I’m excited about my new summer line. I’ve put together a “Cherry Beach” line of ankle bracelets, earrings and necklaces that reflect the vivid and cheerful colours of summer fun and joy. It reminds me of my days, lounging on the beaches of Cuba, sipping on a Tequila Sunrise. Here are a few of my pieces from that collection.
