The longer days and beautiful sunshine brings much delight into
our lives! Trips, outings with friends and families are always exciting to ponder and realize.
I love to travel and search out gemstones for my customers and
bring new items into my studio to work with. One of my frequent places in the city of Toronto, is Cherry Beach. An oasis in the heart of the city, where you can stroll along the shores of Lake Ontario where time stands still for a moment. Leisurely pursuits, people strolling along the beach, with excited pet children eager run in the 'off leash section'. Children making sandcastles, laughing playing, a picnic on the beach.
With aromas of freshly cooked burgers and fries, cold or hot
drinks for the Greek vendor makes this a special time of year
for all. Seagulls flying in formation looking for the odd french fry dropped by a child as it lands on the sand for their picking!
It's also time to think of graduation and Father's Day around the corner.
I love the old time piece, those fob watches that grandfather used to wear are becoming
in vogue again to my delight.

The stone was given its name by Theophrastus, a Greek philosopher and naturalist, who discovered the stone along the shore line of the river while searching for Algy Achates (Greek: Ἀχάτης) sometime between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. White Agate Spiral Earrings

As a business person, I also like to promote other shops on Etsy. Wendy of Arts and Adornments is a wonderful jeweler and designer that I admire. This is my favorite pair of earrings from her shop. Link: Ammonite Fossil Earrings
